I has a unique set of professional experience supporting children, adults and senior citizens in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am particularly passionate about supporting family caregivers and parents navigating the unique challenges of children with learning and developmental differences such as ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism. I have facilitated family caregiver support groups for a decade and led multiple grief groups. I have also assisted numerous students and families in navigating school systems, including 504 plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
My approach is strength-based, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed. I believe in the inherent strengths within each client and collaborate with them to identify and harness these strengths to live fully enriched lives.
I am trained in a spectrum of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Connection Practice, Art Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Practice, Japanese Counseling Course II, Meditation, Tapping, Tai Chi-based Exercise, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Trauma-Informed Practice, and am currently undergoing training in EMDR. I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
